The role

We are looking for someone who makes the entire company run better. The work is broad, practical and often unglamorous. We care much more about drive, agency, execution and learning speed than a conventional résumé or years of experience.

Recruitment

One of the biggest components of this role is helping find, outreach, hire, utilise and retain the most elite talent on earth - across engineering, sales and design. Done well, it is arguably the single most valuable skill you can build if you ever want to run a company yourself.

• Research what exceptional candidates look like.
• Find and reach out to sales and engineering candidates.
• Run preliminary screens.
• Keep our Notion hiring systems clean and useful.

Logistics and commercial resourcefulness

• Help coordinate visas, tax and general administration.
• Find and set up rentals, the company house and office.
• Reduce expenditure by finding grants, credits, discounts and favourable terms.

Team productivity and culture

• Improve the environment so everyone can do exceptional work.
• Make sure sleep and work setups are solid.
• Own welcome packs, merchandise and supplies.
• Track birthdays and organise team events and celebrations.
